Lizbeth Goodman wins ‘BlackBerry Outstanding Woman in Technology Award’ 2008

On behalf of Microsoft HQ, Lizbeth will be spending another week in the Gulf, exploring potential sites for the next phase of the Clubtech project (now rebranded SMARTclubs) and delivering two Keynote lectures.

Stops on the tour include Microsoft HQ for the Middle East in Dubai, Abu Dabai, Oman and Cairo. Two Keynote lectures will be delivered: 'Hybrid Research Models across Sectors: Practice-based Research' on 26 May, and 'Bringing Education and Corporations Together for a Shared Purpose: Embracing Social Change through Knowledge' on 28th May.

SMARTlab is to host a pre-conference welcome reception and visualisation, and demonstrate UEL’s Matrix East advanced projection lab (directed by Professor Haim Bresheeth) at ‘EVA London 2008, 21st July.
